BALLELUJAH
End of Studies Project | 2021-2022 | 9 Months | Unity
Ballelujah is a local one-versus-one custom Pinball game, where players can modify aspects of the board, upgrade their Towers, and use their abilities to put a spin on classic pinball. Players play side by side on separate boards and gain points by placing towers on their side, which act as pinball obstacles, to accumulate a high score.
CONTEXT
In my final year at Brock University, myself and a team of 9 total developed this game under the name Round Robin Games in Unity. We worked together through all the phases of game production together, and faced adversities together with scope. We are all very proud of the game we created!

MY WORK
My roles on Ballelujah were
-
Project Manager/Producer (Hansoft)
-
Gameplay & Systems Designer (Game flow, Character abilities, Towers and Upgrades)
-
VFX & 3D Artist (Tower models, various VFX in Unity)
-
As the Producer, I created the framework and schedule in Hansoft for how we would work once production began. I would assist the department leads in delegating tasks to their underlings, and I would regularly check in with Leads and department members to see if there was anything I could assist on.
-
For minor tasks outside of my Producer work, in pre-production I spent a majority of my time working with the Design team to create the core gameplay loop and mechanics of things like points, towers, upgrades, and character abilities. A lot of this time was spent inside of our Game Design Documents. I also created a majority of the VFX, and assisted with implementing the VFX and other art assets into Unity.
